Joel is a Queer Latino singer, actor, and dancer based out of New York City. Born around the sunny shores of Tampa, Florida, his journey into the performing arts began with a curious decision to choose theatre as his first-grade elective. From that moment on he was captivated by the magic of the stage — a passion that only grew stronger through grade school. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University's Department of Theatre & Dance, Joel wasted no time beginning his journey in New York City.

He has portrayed a diverse range of roles, from the charismatic Frank Jr. in Catch Me If You Can to the poignant Jamie in The Last Five Years and the comedic stylings of Officer Barrel in Urinetown. His performances have graced venues across the country, including the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, The Wold Performing Arts Center in Boca Raton, and The Green Room 42.
